North Carrollton shoppers may soon have a new Dollar General to look forward to for everyday savings. Construction plans are currently being reviewed by both Carroll County and the city of Carrollton because the water plans tie into the city’s water service area.
Completed construction plans call for a new 10,640 square-foot, one story building at 437 Highway 113, which is at the southeast corner of Northside Drive.
Dollar General public relations department stated, “At this time, we are currently in due diligence phase for a new Dollar General in Carrollton, Georgia, that would be located off Highway 113. This means we are reviewing the opportunity to add a new store in the area, but we have not committed to doing so just yet. Based on our current timeline, we anticipate to have a final decision on this by fall 2020. Should we move forward with this project, please note this location is not anticipated to be a relocation site.”
