Spa 3:16 postpones events at their Carrollton and Bremen location. In addition, their 3:16 Family Medicine in Bremen is offering telemedicine services, house calls, and will come out to patient’s cars to reduce entrance into their clinic. Dr. Allison Key shared the following message with us:
“In light of the CDC’s most recent recommendations and in a continued effort to help “flatten the curve” of COVID-19, Spa 3:16 is postponing all it’s upcoming events, including the Spring Blooms Ball fundraiser for Be the Light Medical Missions. All events will be rescheduled once this issue settles down. With Spring and warm weather just around the corner, we are optimistic that if we all band together and follow these recommendations as strictly as possible, we can make a difference in the trajectory of this virus. We are not panicking or stockpiling, but we are being more proactive in how we schedule our patients to minimize interactions and the chance of spreading any germs. There have currently been no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in our area, and we want to keep it that way, so please make sure to adhere to recommendations from health officials, wash your hands frequently, and avoid going out for anything other than necessary purposes.Â
Also, note that 3:16 Family Medicine offers telemedicine services through the Medici app (code: KEYBRE679) and will make house calls or come out to your car if you are running a fever and need to be seen/assessed. We are also continuing our standard, thorough cleaning processes between each patient to minimize the spread of germs and risk of infection.Â
Enjoy this slow down time and make the most of it! There is no need to be stressed or upset about this; this too shall pass, and I feel certain we will learn some valuable lessons in the process!”
