Starting today, March 21, Tanner Health System will release regular COVID-19 test updates to help our community stay informed about the spread of this virus.
These numbers also underscore the importance of social distancing. The public’s continued cooperation is vital in the system’s efforts to slow the spread and flatten the curve of Coronavirus 2019.
As of 3/21/20 at 10 a.m.:
Positive test results: 23
Positive inpatient cases:
- Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton: 8
- Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica: 1
Positive results by county of residence:
- Carroll: 19
- Paulding: 1
- Douglas: 1
- Bartow: 1
- Polk: 1
Tanner has administered over 550 COVID-19 tests, with approximately 400 awaiting independent outside lab results.
