Two Carrollton eateries are starting an employee relief fund to further assist their employees during the time of closure.
“Dear loyal guests, friends, and Ohana,
Little Hawaiian will be closed until further notice and will reopen when our guests and employees are able to gather safely.
Bakery27 Café at Venue on Cedar will be offering a limited menu for curbside pick-up only, Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Sunday 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please call (770) 838-0009 for details.
Now through the end of April, 50% of all gift card sales will go towards our Employee Relief Fund. It has always been our pleasure to serve our community, shake hands and fellowship with everyone. We are truly blessed with passionate and hard-working staff. While we are planning for our future, we need to help our team by letting them know that they can count on us.
You may wonder how we are using the employee relief fund: We will be purchasing and preparing meals twice a week for our employees, buying Covid-19 test kits ($30 each), and we will divide what is left by the end of April between all 68 employees. When we get through this crisis together, we will have a big party knowing that our team will be there smiling and serving.
Here is how you can help:
1. Donate
2. Buy Gift Certificate
We will have a team member standing by from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday through the end of April to take your phone call and process payment over the phone. Each gift certificate will be mailed to you or your friend directly, so you don’t have to leave your home. We will be grateful for any donations.
Phone (770) 838-1220 option #0
If you cannot get through, please email [email protected], and we will be glad to process your payment.
Thank you for your loyalty and patronage. Take care and be well.
We look forward to serving you soon. God Bless!”
