A virtual reality arcade in Newnan, VR Zone opened at 1690 Highway 34 East in October 2019. It was greeted with much excitement as it featured the first Hologate experience in the west Georgia region. Those who enjoyed playing were transformed into another world with the four- player, virtual reality attraction. The City Menus’s team checked out the facility on opening day and enjoyed the relaxing environment.
Upon learning of the closure we reached out to management who provided us with this response, “We are actually permanently closed.” At this time it is not known what will take the place of the former arcade.
