The new RaceTrac at the Poplar Road and Newnan Crossing Boulevard intersection is going up quickly. One of the construction crews from U.S. General Construction, INC. informed us that this particular project came in piece-by-piece. He explained, “We had all sorts of solid white rock that we had to remove from the landmass surrounding the new gas station, but we are moving right along.”
Part of RaceTrac’s mission is to make people’s lives simpler and more enjoyable. This will be the first gas station abutting the Poplar Road, Exit 44 along Interstate 85.
Megan Shannon with RaceTrac’s media relations confirmed that the new RaceTrac is currently scheduled to open in the middle of August 2020. She shared insight about the new store, “Each new RaceTrac store is bright, welcoming, and conveniently located to easily fit into your daily routine. Outside, these new locations feature a clean, well-lit parking lot and competitively priced fuel. Inside, RaceTrac offers a wide selection of tasty, on-the-go food and beverage favorites that are affordable and fresh – no matter the time of day. We’re known for our craveable Swirl World frozen desserts station, with up to 10 flavors and 28 toppings, and our signature freshly ground, freshly brewed, on-demand Crazy Good Coffee.”
She elaborates, “Whether it’s a taquito for breakfast or frozen yogurt at 2 a.m., RaceTrac is a judgement-free zone. Our professional, friendly team members are here to welcome you and ensure you have everything you need to refuel, recharge, and get to your next destination.”
In addition, Burger King is still in the works for the cleared land adjacent to the gas station.
