Serving meals since October 2012, the owners of Courthouse Cafe have announced they are retiring. Jackie and George, along with Vickie and Donnie, explained that as they enter retirement, the business is now for sale.

The quartet of owners expressed their heartfelt appreciation for west Georgia’s allowing them eight years of serving the community. Vickie says, “All of us are going to enter this new chapter of retirement. We are all very excited.”

She goes on to mention that the cafe is currently for sale and they do have an interested party looking at the space. Those interested in purchasing the business can contact Vickie Penhale at (478) 320-7512.

The cafe first opened in October of 2012 at 312 Newnan Street, Carrollton, Georgia. The location, formerly a laundromat, is located directly across from the Carroll County Courthouse.

The City Menus’ team wishes a happy retirement to the owners and will miss the delicious meals and wonderful conversations that were held there.
