Local Girl Scouts from Troop 18004 completed their Bronze Award on Saturday, May 16, 2020.  The Bronze Award is the highest honor for Junior Girl Scouts.  The six girls attend 4th and 5th grade at Arbor Spring Elementary School.  They completed 20 hours of community service capped off with installing hand-made hose caddies at locations throughout Newnan in partnership with Keep Newnan Beautiful.

“I’m glad I got to build the hose caddies because it will help the community grow beautiful gardens.  Plus, we got to spray the hose!  I really loved learning about Keep Newnan Beautiful’s Outdoor Classroom and playing there with my friends.” Nora Rudny, Age 10. “Working with Mrs. Beck with from Keep Newnan Beautiful to complete our Girl Scout Bronze Award was so much fun!” Brooklyn Baker, age 11.
