A homegrown Bowdon home goods and craft store, Pin It Co. is saying farewell to the “Friendly City” and moving to the “City of Dreams,” Carrollton.

Owner Ally Turpen tells us, “Everyone is asking why Carrollton now? And the truth is, I have always had a crush on Carrollton. Its lively and growing community makes me excited, and I want to contribute. Pin It Co. is bringing our branded approach to affordable and accessible home styling. We will offer a light and airy selection of beautifully curated pieces that will make your home a place you can’t wait to share with your family and friends.”

Pin It’s new location will open soon in the former space of Payless Shoesource at 1305 South Park Street, Carrollton, Georgia. The space is next door to Cato Fashions and is located within the Carrollton Crossroads shopping center. Ally explains, “The new storefront will offer a refreshing, hands-on shopping experience featuring great smells, beautiful greenery, custom gifts, and trendy home furnishings. We cannot wait to become your new favorite place to waste a little time and get in some much-needed retail therapy.”

Pin It Co. first opened in Bowdon in 2013 inside a small shop on West College Street and a few years later moved into a much larger space along City Hall Avenue.

This week Pin It Co. will host an indoor yard sale at its Bowdon location at 140 City Hall Avenue. The sale will take place Wednesday, July 8, and Thursday, July 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
