A single-family home development on the northeast side of Carrollton was given the green light by the mayor and city council last July. Now a grading permit has been issued so that work can begin on the new development from Trademark Homes, called Cedar Park.
Originally Cedar Park was proposed as 53 single-family homes plus townhomes. However that has since changed with it now being all single-family homes. An official count of new homes has not been provided just yet.
The development sits on 31 acres of land and will have an entrance on Burns Road and Cedar Street near the Carrollton Greenbelt.
