GRAMMY award-winning country group, Shenandoah, will be performing at Mill Town Music Hall on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 7:30 pm EST. Some of the beloved songs concert-goers can sing along with fan favorites “Two Dozen Roses” and “Church on Cumberland Road.” Country artist Teea Goans will be the opening act. Mill Town Music Hall, focusing on family-friendly music and events, is located conveniently off I-20 in Bremen (1031 Alabama Ave).
Originally formed in 1987, Shenandoah has produced a total of nine studio albums, two of which are certified gold. In 1996, they won a Grammy for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals, along with Alison Krauss for their song “Somewhere in the Vicinity of the Heart.” The group had a brief split in 1997 but were reunited three years later to continue producing music. In the fall of 2017, the band released a new single, “Noise,” and a full-length album was released in 2018.
