Sweet Tooth? Batter and Crumbs Has You Covered!

A new home bakery has started in Carrollton! Batter and Crumbs bakery, owned by Devan Bowen, is bringing generations of baking talent to Carrollton. After growing up baking with her grandmother, Devan decided to turn her passion into a business. “I grew up helping my grandmother decorate and bake cakes, so naturally I gained a love for it!” said Devan.

When deciding to open her business, Devan was faced with all of the challenges of any other business owner, except the business name. She left the name of the business up to a vote amongst her family members. “There’s no SPECIAL meaning behind the name ‘Batter and  Crumbs’,” said Devan. “I simply came up with a list of fun names and went around to my family, and whichever one had the most votes I picked. Now everyone loves it!”

Batter and Crumbs offers cakes, cupcakes, cakepops, cookies and more. A fan favorite, one of their most popular and unique items, is their cheesecake stuffed apple. The apple is covered in chocolate, cored out and stuffed with cheesecake! Caramel and chocolate are then drizzled on top and garnished with a Snickers!

Devan’s trendy bakery is currently operating as a home business and eventually hopes to expand to a stand-alone bakery. Their Business hours are Monday through Saturday 10am-5pm but can be sent messages on facebook 24 hours a day. Their social media posts can be found at Facebook.com/batterandcrumbsbakery and on Instagram @batterandcrumbsbakery. Satisfy your next sweet tooth craving with Batter and Crumbs Bakery!
