Traffic Signal Conversion to All-Way-Stop at one Downtown Newnan Intersection

Newnan’s City Engineering Department has been steadily working this week, despite the rain, on streetscape modifications being made for Brown Street and West Washington Street. The work is to accommodate the conversion of the traffic signals to all-way stop control. City staff will be working out the details in the field. While there should be no interruption to traffic, please note that there will be some new curbs to pour and some minor utility work, so please use precaution when traveling through this area.

If you have questions, contact Michael Klahr City of Newnan, City Engineer, at 770-253-8433.
