Foundation donates Chromebooks to Carrollton City Schools

A foundation serving the west Georgia area has made a $2,500 donation to Carrollton City Schools for the purchase of student Chromebooks.

The Community Diamonds Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization associated with the Carrollton-Douglasville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. that provides financial support for educational initiatives serving area youth.

Presenting a check to Carrollton City Schools Supt. Dr. Mark Albertus, right, are Sam Clonts, left, current foundation chair, and Fred O’Neal, the foundation’s founding chair. Clonts said the foundation, established in 2009, is always looking for other organizations to partner with to support children and civic action efforts. Many thanks to this community partner for supporting our students!
