A Burwell gas station is exchanging green and gold for red and blue. The Bowdon Road Shoppette at 3611 Georgia Highway 166, at the intersection with Burwell Road, has served up BP fuel for many years. However, that is changing starting this month as they will now be a Marathon gas station. Fuel pumps for the new brand have already been installed and signage is to be changed shortly.
Additionally, the store is adopting new hours: Monday through Thursday 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Friday 5:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Saturday 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Sunday 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
