Learning House Academy Offers Daycare and Much More, Enrolling

(Last Updated On: November 12, 2020)

The Learning House Academy at 65 Gray Road in Carrollton is more than just a day care center–it is a learning center for little ones according to their age. Center Director, Shannelle Roe, has a TCC degree in childhood education with a minor in childhood psychology and sociology, and more than 15 years of experience in childcare development.

“As a mother, I truly understand the worry parents have when seeking a childcare program,” Shannelle says, “We all want our children to attend a safe, high-quality program filled with loving teachers and caregivers, and that is exactly the peace of mind you will receive with your son or daughter enrolled in our program. I’m so proud of our caring and dedicated staff.”

Following their carefully planned program, children learn through play as well as intentional and developmentally appropriate activities. They have programs for children ages 0-12 months (Infants), ages 1 and 2 (Toddlers), and 3 and 4 (Pre-school), as well as an after-school program and homework assistance.

The center is designed with families in mind. Shannelle says, “We seek to form a partnership with parents that promotes the learning and healthy development of their child. We welcome parents to the center at any time during the day to join their child for lunch, to observe their child in the classroom, or to meet with the teachers, center directors, or other families.”

Enrolling in a new center can be a big change for a child and parents alike. Learning House Academy recognizes that adjustment periods will vary depending on the age of a child and prior experiences in a classroom setting. Their teachers and center administrators are very experienced in welcoming new families and will work with families to make the process as seamless as possible.

Be sure to come by the Learning House Academy and check them out personally to see if they are the place for your precious child not just to grow, but to thrive. Early education promotes a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.
