Classic Butcher Shop, Cleaver and Cork Opens downtown Newnan Location

Cleaver and Cork, the classic butcher shop located in Sharpsburg, has opened a second location at Newnan’s Historic Downtown Square. Offering an assortment of premium meat cuts, seafood, and other classic premium provisions, owner Audrey Stine is thrilled to continue to grow her business. “I love the downtown community and vibe,” said Stine. “I wanted to be a part of that.”

The new Cleaver and Cork location is at 9 LaGrange Street in Newnan. Their website is https://cleaverandcork.net/, and they can also be found on Facebook. The Newnan location opened on Saturday, December 5th. “We specialize in all premium meat cuts: wet and dry- aged beef, pork, poultry, fresh wild-caught seafood, charcuterie, gourmet cheese, exotic meats, and numerous provisional items such as locally grown honey and organic butter,” said Stine.

The Sharpsburg Location is currently accepting custom orders for the holiday season and the Newnan location is expected to do the same. “We are overwhelmed by the outpouring support from Newnan and excitement that is behind Cleaver & Cork coming to the downtown,” she said.
