Roopville Gas Station Revived

A Roopville gas station that has been closed for several years has found new life. Chevron opened for business last week at the intersection of Georgia Highway 5 and US Highway 27, formerly known as the BP gas station that closed up shop approximately five years ago. According to the manager, the store has been renovated with all new paint, counters, shelves, and drink coolers. Additionally, they will soon have a hot food area offering breakfast biscuits, burgers, hot dogs, pizza, fried chicken, wings, and more.

At the time of this release only the convenience store part is open. However, the manager says that they expect to have the gas pumps activated by the end of this week. The hot food area will be ready in the next couple of weeks.
