Some much-needed improvements are coming to one busy intersection in Carrollton. The City Menus confirmed with the Georgia Department of Transportation that construction is underway to extend and offset the left turn lanes for both north and south bound US 27/South Park Street onto Trojan Drive and Clinic Avenue respectively. This will allow for traffic to flow better without backups into the non-turn lanes and to also provide clearer visibility of oncoming traffic. There is no word on when the project will be completed.
