The Gamestop 1108 GA-34 in Newnan at the Newnan Pavilion is closing permanently on January 29. Although other Gamestop locations including Ashley Park and Peachtree City remain open, the closure at Newnan Pavilion is part of a nationwide closure of Gamestop stores. In early December, the company announced they will be closing over 1,000 stores across the country before the end of their fiscal year at the end of March. Any inventory at the closing store will be massively discounted as the store tries to clear its product before closing its doors.
