Huge Children’s Consignment Sale coming to NFUMC This Month

Put on your favorite mask and join us for the greatly anticipated semi-annual Children’s Consignment Sale sponsored by Newnan First United Methodist Church’s Preschool and Kindergarten, 33 Greenville Street, Newnan. The community is invited to shop on Friday, February 26 from 9:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 27 from 8:00 p.m. to noon. (Many items will be on sale Saturday, but not all of them.)

If a person consigns more than 30 items with us, they receive a preview night ticket that allows them to shop on Thursday night between 5:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. Only the ticket holder gets in. Then we will open the sale at 6:30 p.m. to school teachers with a valid ID. Only Teacher ID holders will be admitted. 

Very gently used items including children’s clothing up to size 14, accessories, baby gear, bedding, books, furniture, games, play equipment, shoes, toys, videos, and more will be offered from 400 consignors. Bring your own shopping bag. Cash or check ONLY!

Saves struggling families money and supports NFUMC school programs. Masks required in the building.

Sue Davis is a local freelance writer whose work can be seen in any COWETA Magazine issue over the last three years. She is the author of Lilly and Billy Visit the Farm, a picture book based on the history of Newnan, and she is published in two anthologies of short stories and various web-based content.
