Friends of The Thread and Emory at LaGrange to Announce Transformative Community Initiative Monday, March 1st

The Friends of the Thread and Emory at LaGrange will announce details of a new transformative community initiative called “I Train on The Thread” and unveil exciting new road races planned entirely on The Thread.

A news conference is scheduled for Monday, March 1st at 1:00 p.m. The announcement will be made in the Courtyard by Marriott lobby, located at 25 West Lafayette Square in downtown LaGrange.

More on The Thread: The Thread is an environmentally sensitive, non-motorized, multipurpose trail designed to increase the health and wellness of the community through providing a safe environment in LaGrange, Georgia for fitness, recreation, transportation and special events. Currently, The Thread has a total 29 miles of trails planned.
