Overnight Film Activity Prompts Traffic Control on Georgia 16 Southeast of Senoia This Friday Night

Film crews will be shooting scenes on Georgia 16 southeast of Senoia this Friday night, Mar. 19, 2021, from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Saturday morning, Mar. 20. To accommodate the crews, local law enforcement will be on the scene to control traffic through the area.

The section of Georgia 16 to be used for the film shoot extends from just past Tinsley Way (MP 29.04) to just past McKnight Road (MP 29.24). When the film crews are actively shooting, the law enforcement officers will close the lanes of traffic in both directions for only three to five minutes at a time.

Signage will be posted in advance of the work zone and drivers are encouraged to moderate their speeds and drive with caution through the area. They should follow the direction of the officers and watch for their signals at all times. Motorists may wish to use alternate routes to avoid the work zone altogether.

Advisory: Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones. Before heading out, get real-time information on work status and traffic conditions.
