Central High School senior Nate Handley was presented with the McDonalds Leadership Award. Criteria for the award includes the student be an active leader in the school government and student organizations, the recipient must have a good grade point average and exemplify excellent character in school and in the community.
Nate serves as the Senior Class President, has been involved in numerous organizations such as Chess Club, Beta Club and National Honor Society and is a member of the varsity boys’ basketball team. Ms. Lauren Campbell from our local Carrollton McDonalds presented Nate with a medallion and $500 award. David and Merry Neisler of Jacksonville, Alabama are the regional owner and operators of McDonalds restaurants.
