Status Updates for Dunkin’ and Chikin’ in Bremen

(Last Updated On: April 29, 2021)

While the wait is very close to being over for donuts and coffee, it’s been slow going for chicken and mac and cheese in the city of Bremen. The City Menus discovered this week that work is expected to wrap up within the next month on the Dunkin along Alabama Avenue, next to Jersey Mike’s and Captain D’s. While there’s not been a specific date announced just yet for the opening, it appears that it is imminent as trim items and signage are going up at the location.

Just down the street at the intersection of US 27 and I-20, it appears that demolition has come to a halt on the old Marathon gas station that is expected to be replaced by Chick-fil-A next to Jack’s. The City Menus spoke with the city of Bremen last week and discovered that Chick-fil-A is definitely still committed to coming to the city, but that there have been some scheduling conflicts that have delayed the continuation of demolition and construction.

Stay tuned to The City Menus for more information as it becomes available on this and other retail news for the city of Bremen!
