Welcome Home, the new boutique shop on Main Street in Villa Rica, is one-of-a-kind. With custom furnishings and home decor, Welcome Home also features local artisan products and showcases small businesses within the shop. Owners Greg and Jennifer Carson of Welcome Home have a passion for their custom furnishings and customizable products and are always happy to create a custom order for their clients.
Located inside Welcome Home are a few different small businesses. Wilson Crafted, owned by Trish and Brian Wilson, creates candles and melts along with exclusive charcuterie boards.
Basic to Boujee Boutique, an upcycled shop, creates custom-designed products from the designer brand Louis Vuitton. Little Love Boutique focuses on infant and children’s apparel and accessories. Welcome Home also carries a paint brand called General Finishes, which provides milk paint, high-performance topcoats, and water-based stains.
The ribbon-cutting event was held on Thursday, June 24, at 11:00 a.m. Janet Chumley and Shannon Gordon of Villa Rica Main Street attended the ribbon cutting. Councilwoman Leslie McPherson and Councilman Michael Young also attended the event along with a committee member, Candy Wilson of Synovus Bank.
