Rezoning Request for 415 Bradley Street

An application for a rezoning request was turned into the city of Carrollton for 415 Bradley Street. The current zoning is C-1 and the applicant is hopeful that the request will be approved to rezone to a Mixed Use Planned Development. According to the city of Carrollton, the applicant is looking to renovate the block building which is behind the American Sign Depot and Laurel Rose Candle Co. If approved, this site would be used as a residential or commercial space. The request will first go before Planning and Zoning on August 10 and then on to Mayor and City Council tentatively for the September 13th meeting.

At one time the building which serves as home to American Sign Depot and Laurel Rose was the Chero Cola bottling business. According to materials at the Royal Crown Cola Museum in Columbus, Georgia, there were many cola bottling businesses along Bradley Street.
