Steppin’ Out Performing Arts GA, now located in downtown Newnan, is a dance company that provides children and teenagers a wonderful experience in dance, performing arts, and acrobatic arts. Steppin’ Out Performing Arts GA gives children and teenagers a space to explore their dancing talents, make new friends, and have fun within their community.
Cassie Jackson, the owner and operator of Steppin’ Out Performing Arts GA, reveals, “We are excited that we have grown out of our old location and needed to move to a larger location. Our new studio has three large dance rooms to accommodate all of our dancers! We now have the ability to offer a much larger variety of classes, styles, and age ranges. We have added many new faces to our staff, including our new co-owner Lindsey Archer. With her musical theatre experience, we are excited to have more shows throughout the year. We also will be welcoming Ms. Mary, our new ballet mistress, to our staff and are thrilled for a fresh new ballet program.”
With the new location in downtown Newnan, there will be new classes and additions to the program. Cassie explains, “We have added a brand new program called “Music Together.” This program is an early-childhood music and movement program for children from birth up. These music classes help little ones develop their innate musicality through singing, dancing, and jamming. Ms. Lindsey is the instructor for this program. They will also be offering piano lessons, acting, and voice to our repertoire of class options.
Cassie continues, “Registration for our 2021-2022 season is open NOW!” Regular season classes began on August 14th, 2021.
“We are in love with Newnan, and so excited to be a part of downtown. The heart of our business is building community and sharing the love of the arts. We are thrilled to continue this with our current students and so excited to welcome new ones!”, Cassie exclaims.
