(Last Updated On: August 25, 2021)

Fido Fest is safely returning to Ashley Park this year  bringing a day full of experiences for family, friends, and four-legged companions. The  free event is taking place on The Green next to DSW on Saturday, September 18 from  10AM-1PM and will benefit local rescue, Hearts ‘n Homes.

Fido Fest features activities for guests and dogs, including: complimentary custom created pet caricatures, a pop-up pet market with pet-themed goodies, food trucks, live entertainment, a pup photo booth, and a 5K Race/1 mile Fun Run kicking-off prior to the  event at 8:30AM.

Local vendors at Fido Fest marketplace include: Pet Wants Newnan, Greater Paws  Training, Pet Paradise, Kali.Handcrafted, and more! Courtesy of local DJ and  photobooth, Event Maestro Entertainment, guests will be able to snap a photo with their  furry friend and leave with a printed copy in hand. Other fun activities include pet-friendly  giveaways and a visit from Chase from Paw Patrol. Dogs will be able to cool off at the  doggy splash zone sponsored by local real estate team, Anderson & Associates.

“We love partnering with local rescue and non-profit, Hearts ‘n Homes, to raise awareness  to its mission and lend a hand in placing these pups in their forever homes,” said Katie  Stepp, marketing coordinator of Ashley Park.

Hearts ‘n Homes will offer on-site dog adoptions. Dora, Jupiter, Star, Daisy, and Virginia are a few of the dogs who will be available for adoption at the event.
