A property just off Georgia Highway 61 between Carrollton and Villa Rica is now growing the fruit of the vine for wine lovers. Plans are in development for The Vineyard at Hominy Creek at 83 Hominy Creek Road. Carroll County’s Planning and Zoning Commission and the Board of Commissioners recently approved the conditional use request by owner Charles Cornell. The 10-acre property will feature a vineyard, tasting room, and event center and will highlight wines created on-site. For more information, visit their Facebook page
