Purple Mood Gourmet Treats and Baker’s Boutique Lifts Spirits and Brightens Your Day in a Sweet Way

Calling all those bakers out there looking for baking and decorating supplies and all those who are just looking for a unique sweet treat to lift their spirits. Purple Mood Gourmet, located at 575 Pine Road, next to Dollar General, is the one place in Coweta County that has both.  “I used to have to go to Lawrenceville for my decorating supplies,” Maria said. “It wasn’t cost effective.”

Owner Maria Cook and her partner, Rodedrik “Madrid” Robinson, opened the first small business in our area to offer boutique-worthy supplies to the home or business baker looking for high-end sprinkles, edible gold and silver flakes, liquid flavorings, tools, boxes, utensils, and other supplies.

In addition to the various supplies, Purple Mood offers daily-made sweet treats, including candied apples with a variety of toppings, frozen grapes dipped in sprinkles, dipped fresh strawberries, “real” red velvet cupcakes, and gourmet popcorn mixed with freeze-dried banana pieces and mini vanilla wafers, enhanced with a delicious white chocolate glaze.

Maria shared, “I love educating first-time bakers and encouraging them,” while Madrid said his motivation is “to bring joy to the people of the community.”
