Athena’s Pizza Converting to a Peruvian Restaurant

(Last Updated On: October 26, 2021)

Steve Josovitz of The Shumacher Group sells Peachtree City Athena’s Pizzeria for Peruvian Restaurant conversion. The Shumacher Group, Inc. and Steve Josovitz represented the seller but guided all parties to a successful close.

A message from the owner reads in full from Athena’s website:

“It’s been nearly 12 years since we opened our doors here and welcomed you all into our restaurant and into our lives. That’s why it’s with great sadness that we inform you that we have sold our restaurant and will be moving on at the end of this week. Great sadness but great joy also because this means that we can move on to the next chapter in our lives, something that owning a restaurant doesn’t give you the freedom to do. It’s been our pleasure to serve all of you in Peachtree City, Sharpsburg, Newnan, and really all of Fayette and Coweta counties and beyond; and we thank each and every one of you for supporting our family and all of our employees and their families and welcoming us into your community with open arms since day one way back on November 9, 2009. We hope that you will give the new owners the same warm reception that you gave us. It’s been a great ride for us, but every ride has an end and OURS will be this Sunday October 17. Athena’s may still be here after we leave, but we would love it if you came and had one last meal with US. Please spread the word, we will be here thru Sunday.

“From Elias, Sevi, Alexandros, Athena and all of our staff present and past, we will miss you! We thank you!

“May God bless us all!”
