Over the past several months activity has been steady at the motor bank at 314 Newnan Street. According to the City of Carrollton the motor bank is being repurposed to serve another area bank. Our phone calls today led to the discovery of the bank’s name, American Commerce Bank. This community-based bank has its headquarters just up the road in Bremen, Georgia. According to a team member at the branch, the bank is scheduled to open sometime in December. We will keep you informed of any changes with the construction project.Â
In other news from the City of Carrollton, the former NuWay cleaners will soon be home to an office suite. A name was not given.
