College Board Recognizes Central High School Students

The College Board National Recognition Program selected nine (9) Central High School students to honor for outstanding performance. Ava Tyson, Caleb Griffis, Charlee Causey, Johnathan Burns, Kira Babbs, Sara Jennings, and Sarah Dutton, Laney Duffey, and Brock McWhorter were selected to receive the Nation Rural and Small Town Recognition Award. In addition, Kira Babbs was given the National African American Recognition Award. 

The College Board National Recognition Programs create pathways to college for underrepresented students by awarding them academic honors and connecting them with universities across the country.

Linda has been a Carroll County Schools educator since 1995 and currently serves as Central High School’s Media Specialist. In addition, she is a certified fitness instructor with One Life Atlanta Fitness and teaches part-time with the University of West Georgia.
