Owner Keith Barker of Chestnut Ridge Hearth and Home recently opened a new bakery in his home decor shop in downtown Bowdon. Keith told those gathered for an After Hours Carroll County Chamber of Commerce event last week that the vision all started after a post on his bakery Facebook page that went viral. On Valentine’s Day he sold 120 three-inch, personal-sized cheesecakes. He says, “That’s how things started to grow and those in the community said I should start doing more with this.”
Keith then installed professional kitchen equipment in the store and hosted a Spring Open House with a debut of the bakery. He says, “Trust what the good Lord tells you to do, he will not let you fall.” In the new bakery customers will find all sorts of treats including delicious chocolate assortments, cakes, pastries, cupcakes, and cookies.You can learn more about Chestnut Ridge Bakery by clicking here.
