West Georgia Domestic Violence Shelter Launches New Website

For 35 years, Carroll County Emergency Shelter, West Georgia Domestic Violence Shelter has served West Georgia.They are a nonprofit organization that provides safe shelter and support services for victims of Domestic Violence in the West Georgia area. West Georgia Domestic Violence Shelter serves the counties of Carroll, Carrollton, Coweta, Haralson, Heard, and Meriwether. Certified by the State of Georgia, the shelter abides by specific standards of services in operations. The shelter started in 1986, the current shelter was made in 1998, and the transitional house and administrative building opened in 2004.
