Central High School Students Shine in Laws of Life Essay Contest

Central High School students participated in the annual Georgia Rotary Laws of Life essay contest sponsored by the local Rotary chapter, The Dawnbreakers Rotary Club. Grade level winners for Central High School were 9th grader Kai McMichael, 10th grader Kaiden Burkes, 11th grader Ellie Knott, and 12th grader Kelsey Bougades-Hills.

Honorable Mention in the 9th grade was Isabella Jackson, Mary Lois Griffis, Taylor McCormick, Payton Goodwin, and Annabelle Turpin. Honorable Mention in the 10th grade was Josie Huckeba, Brendy Morales, Ella Robinson, Emmie Hall, and Hannah Gibbs. Honorable Mention in the 11th grade was Charlee Howard, Ericka White, Jesse Gurley, Logan Robinson, and Autumn Higgins. In the 12th grade Honorable Mention was Azariah McClure, Alaina Carey, Jesus Garcia-Salinas and Hannah Newbern.

Linda has been a Carroll County Schools educator since 1995 and currently serves as Central High School’s Media Specialist. In addition, she is a certified fitness instructor with One Life Atlanta Fitness and teaches part-time with the University of West Georgia.
