Owen Warren named USMC All-American

Central High School junior Owen Warren was named a High School All-American by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) and the United States Marine Corps (USMC). The award recognizes students who demonstrate excellence in the classroom and exhibit outstanding character and leadership skills. 

Owen was one of nearly 60 students awarded this honor in the State of Georgia. The NWCA was established in 1928 as a non-profit organization for the advancement of all levels of the sport of wrestling with a primary emphasis on developing coaches who work in academic environments. The three (3) core competencies of the NWCA are: Coaching Development, Student-Athlete Welfare, and Promotion of Wrestling.
