Central High School senior Emma-Leigh Grizzard was presented with the Golden K Kiwanis Scholarship, a $1,000 award, by local Kiwanis members. Emma-Leigh plans to attend Jacksonville State University in the fall and plans to study chemistry and secondary education.
Emma-Leigh is a Media Center intern at Central Middle School and works with the after-school program at Roopville Elementary School. She received the Coca Cola Extra Mile Award at the Honors & Awards Night ceremony held in April.
