The LaGrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony on June 9 for Cafe Brûlée & Dessert Bar. The restaurant is located at 115 Bull Street in downtown LaGrange in the former Sweet Roast Cafe. Local Groundz took over the space a few months ago and rebranded/re-opened the cafe. Renovations were made to refresh the space and add their own character to the location. According to a Facebook post from May, the cafe offers a full coffee menu, lunch items, pastries along with gourmet desserts, wine, beer, and signature mixed coffee drinks.
Just recently an announcement was made that Sweet Roast baker Karen Scobee will indeed stay on as the baker and offer new delicious treat items that all will enjoy!
You can visit Cafe Brûlée & Dessert Bar Tuesday through Sunday during regular business hours, and keep in mind they are closed on Monday. To learn more about the new café please click here.
