The City Menus has received several questions regarding the grading underway near Bethany Christian Church off Highway 61 southbound coming from Sand Hill. According to Ashley Hulsey, Communications Director for Carroll County, the zoning for the new Planned Unit Development was approved in 2006. At the time the development was approved for up to 275 single family homes. She tells us that a new owner has purchased the property and is now planning to build those homes. Along with the new homes proposed are a clubhouse, pool, and playground.
