Beloved Thumbs Up Diner to Open in Trilith This September

Now Opening in October

The Atlanta institution’s seventh location to offer iconic breakfast favorites and famous offerings plus lunch and drinks seven days a week

Thumbs Up Diner, hailed as one of Georgia’s top breakfast and lunch spots, is preparing to win raves from the creative community surrounding one of the largest purpose-built television and film studios in North America. A seventh location of the restaurant will open in Trilith in mid-September 2022 with retro-modern construction and some surprising new offerings along with the restaurant’s signature comfort foods.

Thumbs Up Diner is renowned for its funky mix of “Breakfast Originals” as well as build-your-own breakfast options. Popular customizable breakfast plates with eggs any style and potatoes include specialty proteins such as turkey bacon, chicken sausage and veggie sausage along with unexpected toppers such as chicken wings, fried catfish, fried pork chops and grilled shrimp. Popular morning entrees like Belgian waffles and buckwheat pancakes will continue to be dished out to loyal guests and newcomers.

The diner offers its line of meat, potato, egg and cheese dishes served hot off the grill in a cast iron skillet. While best known for breakfast, Thumbs Up Diner also offers a variety of lunch favorites including sandwiches, burgers and tacos. Beer and wine will also be available for the first time at the chain, so brunch crowds can expect mimosas and other classic refreshments on the menu.

The Trilith location will offer healthy and lighter fare choices such as avocado toast, heart-smart omelets, fruit parfaits, tofu and veggies. Other specialties include turkey and chicken smoked in-house, freshly squeezed juices, homemade multi-grain biscuits, stone-ground grits, homemade jams and slow poured 100% pure Vermont Maple Syrup.

“Expect to see neighbors, businesspeople and guests from far and wide enjoy this new ‘come as you are’ establishment,” said Rob Parker, president of the Town at Trilith. “We look forward to welcoming this franchisee and proven concept into our thriving Town Centre. It promises to be a neighborhood meeting place serving great food at reasonable prices with a friendly wait staff.”

According to Joni Tabb, franchisee of the new Thumbs Up Diner, “I’m very excited to bring the brand to Trilith, where we plan to bring best-in-class service, a welcoming ambiance and delicious meals to a thriving community.”

The Thumbs Up Diner at Trilith will be located at the Town Centre’s entrance for in-restaurant dining and will also include a pick-up window and catering services. The space is a friendly modern diner and also a tribute to the classic American diner concept. Deco glass in the windows and a curved service counter combine an urban ambience and friendly service for a relaxing breakfast and lunch experience.

Thumbs Up Diner at Trilith will be open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends.
