City of Carrollton’s Night Market to Inaugurate New Lakeshore Park Facilities

(Last Updated On: July 15, 2022)

The City of Carrollton’s newest event, Night Market, will bring live music, local vendors, food trucks, brews and other activities to the shores of Lake Carroll, July 22.

“We’re excited to showcase the first phase of our expansion of Lakeshore Park with this new, fun event,” said City Councilmember Brett Ledbetter, whose ward includes the lake. “I hope everyone will enjoy using these amenities for years to come.”

The recently-completed park expansion features three pavilions, picnic tables made of recycled materials, smoker grills and a playground. It is located on North Lakeshore Drive, adjacent to the public docks area, near the dam. The city will initiate a second phase of the park’s expansion in the fall, which is expected to feature a boardwalk along the lake, an on-the-water pavilion and a junior amphitheater area.

The Night Market event will run from 6 – 9:30 pm on Friday, July 22. The Porch Band will perform throughout the evening.
