Join the Newnan Carnegie Library August 9th at 6:30pm for one of Elvis Presley’s most iconic movies ever made. At 6:30pm, you can participate in the Elvis Presley trivia game and win fun prizes, and, at 7:00pm, the movie will start with popcorn and candy at the ready. Everyone will also go home with an Elvis themed give-away! The film is not rated, but contains scenes of violence, smoking, and drinking. “We love to celebrate film and music here at the Carnegie, and since it is National Elvis week starting on the 9th, we thought it would be a great time to show off Elvis’s first big cinematic hit,” says Anthony Urda, the Newnan Carnegie Library Adult Event Coordinator.
Online registration is required for this event, so please visit the Newnan Carnegie Library website calendar page to sign up.
