Earlier in July we reported on our Facebook page that construction was underway for an outparcel building in the same area as Chicken Salad Chick. Last week it was confirmed to The City Menus that Chipotle intends to open at the LaGrange Mall. Framing started going up last week, and the restaurant is now fully under construction and should open in the next few months.Â
Additionally Sonic is under construction too close to Jameson Drive. Per the site plans for the new Sonic Drive In Restaurant, the building will have a single drive-thru lane that will wrap partially around the building. The plans do show a double lane at the menu boards like you see at McDonald’s. The normal Sonic ordering method at the parked stalls should also be implemented in the construction.
