The LaGrange Police Department, LaGrange Fire Department, Troup County Sheriff’s Department and Georgia State Patrol are hosting the annual Faith & Blue event Sunday, October 9th, 3:00-4:30 p.m. at SouthCrest Church, 104 West Lukken Industrial Drive. The public is invited to attend.
The purpose of the Faith and Blue Community Event is to create safer, more inclusive communities by connecting law enforcement officers and the residents they protect and serve through houses of worship. LaGrange Police will join other national law enforcement groups, the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office) and MovementForward, Inc.’s One Congregation One Precinct (OneCOP) initiative in this national event.

This ceremony is free and open to the public.
Friday, October 7th at 8:30 a.m. area ministers are invited to participate in the Pastor’s Breakfast, a free breakfast with the LaGrange Police Department, LaGrange Fire Department, Troup County Sheriff’s Office and Georgia State Patrol at Confidence Missionary Baptist Church at 705 Colquitt Street in LaGrange.
