Peachtree City held Ribbon Cutting for new Bobcat store

Local officials and other business leaders welcomed Bobcat of Atlanta to Peachtree City Thursday for the grand opening of a new store.

Bobcat, a global manufacturer of construction equipment, continued its expansion in the metro area. The new Peachtree City location on Dividend Drive is the seventh launched by Bobcat of Atlanta around the metro area.

“We love having businesses come in,” new City Council Member Clint Holland said at the ribbon cutting. “It means both development and redevelopment is still happening in and around Peachtree City.”

Branch manager Jonah Gallman indicated the new store would make Bobcat more available, providing parts, service, rentals and sales.

Fayette County Chamber of Commerce President Colin Martin held the bright red ribbon while Gallman cut it with special scissors, officially opening Bobcat for business.

“Let’s move some equipment here!,” Martin said to applause.
