The Optimist Club of Carrollton announced Central High School senior Allee Adams as the 2022-2023 essay competition winner.
Allee’s essay submission will move to the next round of competition in the Optimist International Essay Scholarship Competition. She has the potential of winning the $2,500 award. Thursday, February 2, the Optimist Club of Carrollton will be recognizing the top three winners of the essay contest.
As a member of the Advanced Women’s Chorus, Allee has participated in school musicals throughout her high school career. Last spring, she most notably played the part of Fiona in the musical Shrek.
Allee is the daughter of Shannon and Paul Adams of Carrollton.
