A Chance to be a Part of History: Downtown Dallas with New Building Openings

(Last Updated On: January 24, 2023)

New things are continuing to happen in downtown Dallas! There are some historic buildings available in Downtown that the Development Authority would like to share. Three of the four property owners are looking for restaurants/specialty food. The spaces are as small as 1,300 square feet and as large as 3,000 square feet.

The Manager of Downtown Dallas Main Street, Shannon Gordon, is thrilled about the continued expansion of the Historic Downtown area. “If you aren’t familiar with Dallas, we have a lot of growth happening in the next few years,” said Gordon.

“The Downtown Development Authority has acquired many properties and has demolished the buildings/houses on them so that the land can be sold to a developer to build a mixed-use development. We have a great council, city manager, and staff really making things happen for downtown and the city as a whole. More about this plan can be found on the city’s website https://www.dallasga.gov/cd/page/2020-lci-plan

Have you had a dream of becoming an owner of a business or restaurant? The opportunity is here with the City of Dallas incentivizing a downtown area with a wide variety of cuisines, shops and boutiques and lovely outdoor seating on the historic street.
