Carrollton’s Ingles, located in the Riverbridge Shopping Center at 1124 North Park Street, is preparing for a major renovation. Currently the beer and wine area is being reset in preparation for the addition of a new pharmacy.
According to Jamie Warren, General Manager, the pharmacy will start being built the week of March 6. He mentions, “Most of the construction will happen during the nighttime so that it won’t interfere with the shopping experience.” Sheets of plastic will be put up to separate the construction areas and shoppers.
Jamie says, “Carrollton’s Ingles will mimic the Bremen location but only a bit smaller, [and] a Starbucks is coming along with Chinese food, sushi, and a pizza bar.” Shoppers will find the new Starbucks at the main entrance near the existing floral department. Carts will also be enclosed with glass, and the front tile is being redone.
